一、教材分析

這是本單元的第三課時。Let’s learn為與本課主題相關的口語交際練習。Read and write為短文閱讀,通過展示Sarah’s diary來介紹Sarah’s cat has two kittens. 結合日期的表達進行信息整合,以此拓展學習問答重點on+具體到某天日期的表達法。

二、學情分析

在五年級下冊Unit3中,學生已經學習過月份的單詞和某些節日的表達方式,本節課將在此基礎上學習如何詢問并回答某節日的具體日期。

三、教學目標

1. 能夠在圖片的幫助下讀懂日記,并根據日記內容完成連線活動。

2. 能夠根據日記內容,仿照例句,寫出兩個描述小貓生長狀態的句子。

3. 檢測部分要求學生能夠熟練地聽、說、讀、寫本單元對話板塊的核心句型;能夠聽、說、讀、寫詞匯板塊的所有單詞。

4. 能夠在教師的幫助下總結基數詞及序數詞的用法,并完成相應練習。

5. 培養學生熱愛生活,感恩生活的情感。

四、教學重難點

1. 重點:在情景中運用句型When is …? It’s on … 詢問并對某天舉行或發生某個活動的陳述句表達。

2. 難點:April及序數詞的發音。

五、教學過程

Step 1: Warm-up 1. Free talk 2. 學生齊唱放五年級下冊Unit3歌曲The twelve months. 3. Games: sharp eyes,復習月份類單詞及其縮寫形式。

Step 2:Presentation 1. Let’s try

(1) 教師出示Let’s wrap it up部分,請學生復習基數詞、序數詞的表達法。

Let’s sing a song When is your birthday 3.學生欣賞完歌曲后,教師簡單過渡到下部分學習內容:Wu Yifan wants to know your birthday. Can you tell him?

(1) 教師第一次展示Look and write部分的日歷,學生看圖,完成月份的聽音練習,并標注出具體日期。

3. Let’s talk

(1) 教師出示課文對話的配圖,問題為:

When is Grandpa’s birthday? ②

When is Dad’s birthday?

學生看完動畫后回答問題。

答案為:

It’s on October 12 th. ②

It’s on November 30 th. (2) 教師告知學生:Sarah’s cat has two kittens. Read Sarah’s diary. (教師需解釋和引導區分1st, 2 nd, 3 rd 和其他序數詞的寫法和讀法。)

(3) 教師播放本部分錄音,請學生聽完錄音后,完成練習:

Step 3:Practice 1. Role-play. (1) 學生兩人一組,分段朗讀對話;

(2) 個人朗讀秀;

2. 教師在課件上出示new baby Tom的新生照,挖空的語音框架,要求學生創編新對話,對話示例如下:

Step 4: Summary 教師引導學生總結本課所學重點句型,鼓勵學生提出問題。
